Children enrolled in Epworth Preschool & Daycare's full day program receive preschool education every day Monday through Friday. We have patterned our full day program after our preschool program and extended the day to include breakfast, lunch and naptime. We understand that children need lots of opportunity for physical activity every day so we have outdoor time twice a day on our playground -- weather permitting. When the weather doesn't cooperate, we have an indoor gym or activities especially designed to help children increase their gross motor skills. In addition, all children participate in our Music and Motion class each week during the school year. This is an opportunity for children to learn early music concepts, improve listening skills and participate in movement activities.
Our children also receive delicious and nutritious meals and snacks. The noon meal is hot and home cooked. Our snacks focus on encouraging our children to eat more fresh fruits, vegetables and grains. Be sure to check our monthly menu with the link at left.

Karen East has been with Epworth Daycare for 15 years. She graduated from Marion Harding High School and then from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She has one grown son and lives with her husband Arthur. Her passions are her family, her Epworth children and her Creator, Father God.

Tracy has taught the Fox class for over 20 years. She has a Bachelor's degree in education from The Ohio State University. She and husband Roger have three children: Alison, an Epworth alumni, and Leah and Megan, who are both Dolphins.
